Objective: Create a website to showcase their wide product range and improve the way customers enquire about products.

The Challenge

Jarman Office Furniture wanted a clean, professional website to showcase their extensive catalogue of modern office furniture. The original idea was to use categorized image galleries to display products, with customers expected to call or email if interested. However, this setup lacked structure and made it difficult for the sales team to handle incoming enquiries efficiently.

 

My Solution

Instead of static galleries, I recommended building the website on WooCommerce, not as a traditional eCommerce store, but as a dynamic quote-based system.

Key steps included:

  • Listing all products in WooCommerce, categorized by type (desks, chairs, storage, etc.)
  • Adding a “Request a Quote” feature that allows users to:
    • Add multiple items to a quote basket
    • Submit a quote request with all product details included
  • Ensuring the system sends a detailed enquiry to the client’s inbox, complete with selected products and user info

 

The Results

  • Customers can now easily browse, select, and enquire about specific items without needing to call or send generic emails.
  • Each quote request includes all necessary product details, which saves time and allows the sales team to respond faster and more accurately.
  • The site now functions as both a visual showcase and a sales tool, improving customer experience and lead quality.

 

Impact

The new system streamlined Jarman’s sales funnel by reducing back-and-forth communication and empowering customers to submit well-informed enquiries. This shift transformed the website from a static catalogue into a powerful, lead-generating tool tailored to the way modern B2B buyers shop.
